DIY Tank Top: Fashion on a Budget
Like other college students, the Pinterest boom has swept. Information-sharing sites allow users to "install" what they want in the Categories panel to be displayed by the following users. A few days ago, a friend sent instructions to make these tanks with shirts. As a sibling girl, I have a lot of shirts that can be used in some modifications, so I decided to try it out. I have now turned into two shirts that I have never worn in a nice new jacket.
Although I already have a set of guidelines, I have come up with my own suggestions to help you avoid some of the issues you have encountered. Follow the instructions below to change the old T to the tank.
DIY sweater
Tools: Jacket, scissors, pencil (preferably not mechanical)
Step 1: Choose the shirt. Any t-shirt is fine, but I found that a slightly larger shirt is better than a tight shirt.
Step 2: Cut the polygon collar on your shirt until it is completely removed. Make sure you're close to the seam.
Step 3: Remove the sleeve by cutting the sleeve to seam the shirt body. Again, make sure to be close to the seam.
Step 4: Cut the neck hole to a depth of 1.5 inches. I recommend shearing up to the middle point and folding the cutting bar to the other side. Then you can use the part you cut as a template for the other part; the neck gap is unbalanced.
Step 5: Now cut the cannula hole about one inch from the neckline. The tutorial I found says it looks like the syllable here. But I found that this shirt makes the sides of the shirt a bit clumsy. I recommend flipping the shirt and cutting it on the back over the front.
Step 6: Using the waste of sleeves, cut the tape about 2 inches wide and 8 inches long.
Step 7: Pull each of the 8-inch strips until they are wrapped. This will be the shirt tie.
Step 8: Pass the tape through the sleeve and wrap it around the back of the shirt twice and tighten it. Knotted with a simple double knot. Then you can move the knot to make it inside the shirt.
a look! You've successfully recycled your old shirt into a fun new jacket. I have a little stretch and pull to make my body healthy, but I did a good job as t-shirts, swimwear and casual shirts. More importantly, I wore a shirt that I never crossed and turned it into a new shirt without spending any money. It's like getting free clothes.
If you want to do something different, you have also made such a shirt. For this shirt, I also cut the letter "V" on the back of the shirt and cut a larger hole on the back. The front is very similar to the first.
Let me know if I come up with any other changes to this model, I would like to try it out.
